Mukesh Chhabra is a prominent figure among the emerging casting directors in India. With a solid foundation in acting acquired through two years of training at the Sriram Center, culminating in a diploma, coupled with seven years of experience teaching for NGOs and youth with Theater in Education (TIE) alongside the National School of Drama in Delhi, he transitioned to the Mumbai film industry in 2007.

Having honed his skills assisting various film crews in the casting process, Mukesh garnered recognition as a seasoned casting director through his work on notable films and web series like Chillar Party, Kai Po Che, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dangal, Scam 1992, and The Family Man. Today, esteemed industry names such as Raju Hirani, Anubhav Sinha, Hansal Mehta, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sooraj Barjatya, Aamir Khan, and AR Rahman entrust MCCC for their casting requisites. Independent filmmakers focusing on niche audiences and the festival circuit also rely on his expertise to curate fitting ensemble casts for their projects.
